Status on the Home Front

Despite the economy, we all have been blessed and with a good job. Healthwise, he has kidney stones and the doctor is considering surgery to remove

Lucky tripped and twisted her ankle. It swelled up pretty good and then went tot he doctor. She was then told she has gout. Go figure that one out.

Sarah Jane, my little Mohican, leaves for Wofford College the end of August 2011. She got her ROTC scholorship and we are all happy for her. Not going to be the same around here without her. She is still making makeup, and exercise videos which are posted on YouTube someplace. .

Status of the Kids

1. Stella is still a stay at home mom
2. Chris is still playing his music and not having time to do much else -- literally
3. Darryl is now home from his deployment from Afghanistan.
4. Lani still working hard and attending night school for her masters degree
5. Isaac is still assigned to Parris Island. His transfer is now for September or October 2011 and in the mean time is attending college night classes.
6. Sarah Jane leaves for college Sept 30th, 2011.
7. Angela is still living in Maine.

Sarah Jane Offered Scholarship

The US Army ROTC Command has offered Sarah Jane a 4-year scholarship with classes to begin in the fall of 2011. She has accepted and selected Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina with plans to pursue a double major degree in English and Business. She also has an option to attend an additional three years at a law school when she graduates.
